General Care
- Regular care is needed to maintain the beauty and finish of your furniture.
- When placing furniture, please be aware of keeping the piece out of direct sunlight, away from heat, harsh chemicals, sharp objects and pets. When moving furniture be careful not to drag the item.
- Spot Cleaning – Treat spills and stains as soon as possible. Gently scrape ay solid or mop any liquid from the surface of the fabric, leather or timber.
- Do not scrub. Only apply proprietary cleaning agents strictly according to instructions.
- Abrasive cleaning products are not recommend
Fabric Upholstery
- Vacuum regularly with a soft upholstery attachment. Dirt combined with body moisture can produce a grime discolouration to the fabric. Vacuuming will also remove grit that can also wear away the fabric.
- When you can, rotate the cushions to even out the wear.
- Use a professional dry cleaning service at least once a year to keep the fabric looking good. Leave any removable covers on during cleaning to minimise shrinking.
- Temporary pilling can happen with some fabrics. This isn’t considered a fault and can be removed using a de-pilling machine.
- Don’t place the fabric in direct sunlight or near heaters as they can fade and damage the fabric. Use curtains and blinds to protect your furniture from direct sunlight through windows.
- Don’t pull loose threads, cut them instead.
Mesh (Task Chairs)
The following cleaning tips are only recommendations.
We strongly recommend the use of non-polluting cleaning agents/detergents.
- Removing Stains: In order to clean and care for your mesh product, we recommend the use of detergents suitable for synthetic surfaces and with a neutral pH (5-8). Very Important!
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Cleaning agents should first be tested on a section otherwise not visible.
- Seek professional assistance in the case of severe soiling. Follow the advice of the cleaning agent/detergent manufacturer.
Metal
- Regularly wipe metal with a soft clean cloth to remove particles which can abrade the surface with wear. Avoid contact with liquid, heat and direct sunlight.
- Cleaning: Metallic, steel, aluminium and polished surfaces should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and warm water; for persistent stains, liquid soap diluted in water can be used. After cleaning, always dry with a soft cloth or a leather cloth.
- Do not use cleaning products for steel ovens, chlorine, bleach, or other aggressive detergents. Avoid abrasive creams, score pads and abrasive sponges that can scratch metallic surfaces.
- Pay attention to food stains like coffee, fruit juice and cola; if these are not removed immediately they can leave indelible marks on the surface.
Polypropylene/Plastic
- In general surfaces made from plastic materials can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and warm water; for persistent stains a small amount of liquid soap diluted in water may be used.
- Avoid using acetone, trichloroethylene, ammonia and detergents that contain even just a small amount of these substances because they can render shiny surfaces opaque.
- Avoid the use of ethyl alcohol as this too can make the surface opaque.
- Avoid all types of abrasive substances, like for example powdered cleaning products, abrasive creams, score pads and rough sponges.
- Using dry cloths is not recommended. When rubbed, plastic surfaces become electrically charged and attract dust; this is therefore not recommended on any shiny or glossy surface.
- Avoid placing objects on the furniture that can scratch the material with which the products are made.
- We remind you that surfaces made from plastic materials cannot endure high temperatures, like for example direct contact with hot pots or pan
Laminate
- In general surfaces made from plastic materials can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and warm water; for persistent stains a small amount of liquid soap diluted in water may be used.
- Avoid using acetone, trichloroethylene, ammonia and detergents that contain even just a small amount of these substances because they can render shiny surfaces opaque.
- Avoid the use of ethyl alcohol as this too can make the surface opaque.

- Avoid placing objects on the furniture that can scratch the material with which the products are made.
- We remind you that surfaces made from plastic materials cannot endure high temperatures, like for example direct contact with hot pots or pan
Timber
- To be cleaned with a damp cloth and warm water.
Always dry after cleaning. - Remove any liquid substances and any other residue to avoid absorption.
- We also remind you that wood surfaces cannot endure high temperatures, like for example direct contact with hot pots and pans.
- Exposure over time to light sources can change the colour of the wood.
- We remind you that wood is a natural material; the colour and surface could undergo changes with use and over time.
